Russian Play Creates a Stir at Festival in India

The popular Russian show Masha and the Bear has created a furor at the International Festival of Puppet Theatres in India, Voice of Russia reports. Thousands of people came to see it at the Epicentre Concert Hall in Gurgaon on Wednesday.

Staged by the Moscow Regional State Theatre on the basis of the same-name fairy tale, Masha and the Bear was to have premiered at the Indian festival on Monday but had to be postponed due to the late arrival of stage settings.
