Maria Kirilenko Slips to No.13 in WTA Rankings

16.04.2013

Roberta Vinci bumped Maria Kirilenko from the world No. 12 spot in new rankings Monday after the Italian won the Katowice Open over the weekend, RIA Novosti reports. Vinci took her eighth career title on Sunday with a 7-6(2), 6-1 win over the tournament's top seed, Petra Kvitova.

The 30-year-old moves to a career-high 12 in the WTA rankings on the back of the victory, dislodging Russian star Kirilenko. Kirilenko won her sixth WTA title at Pattaya in February.
