Ethiopia hosts the Days of Russia's Spiritual Culture

The Days of Spiritual Culture in Russia are starting on Tuesday, June 27th, in the Ethiopian capital, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation informs. This extensive project encompasses wide range of activities and events and aims to introduce residents of other countries to the masterpieces of diverse Russian culture and the spiritual heritage of our country.

The festival is organized by the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, and the Russian Orthodox Church.

The residents of the African country are invited to an exhibition that showcase the Kizhi Museum-Reserve, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A roundtable discussion is planned, where participants will explore the significance of spiritual and cultural heritage as the foundation for the development of bilateral cooperation between Moscow and Addis Ababa.

It is planned for the fall 2023 that the Moscow Theological Seminary Choir will perform in Ethiopia.

The delegations of both sides include representatives of government representatives, the Russian and Ethiopian Orthodox Churches, heads of cultural institutions from both countries, as well as scholars and cultural figures.
