Russian Night was held in Seoul

Events dedicated to strengthening Russian-Korean friendship and cooperation were held in Seoul on December, 14th and 15th. The program included The Russian Night and another event in honor of the anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, took place in the South Korean capital,  Rossiyskaya Gazeta reported. 

The Russian Night, held for the eighth time, was organized by the Korean-Russian Business Council and the Russian diplomatic mission in South Korea. And the next evening, the Korean-Russian Friendship Society organized an evening to mark the 33d anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. 

Valery Guenkov, Russia's Charge d'Affaires in South Korea, emphasized that individuals from cultural and business backgrounds of nations are actively engaged in constructive collaboration amid challenging circumstances. Guenkov highlighted the notable resurgence of contacts between public organizations in Russia and South Korea over the past year. He further cited recent statements from Russian President Vladimir Putin, expressing a willingness to revive mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
