The Russian Culture Festival is being held in Hong Kong for the 6th time, TASS reports. It is held under the ''Try, feel, hear, discover Russian culture'' motto. The organizer is the Russian Club in Hong Kong with the assistance of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation.

The main participants are representatives of the local Russian-speaking community, businessmen, teachers and many others. Exhibitions are planned as part of the two-month program. Local residents will be invited to master classes by artists and craftsmen. There will also be a gourmet dinner and many other events aimed at promoting Russian culture. The organizing committee noted that Hong Kong residents will have the opportunity to personally meet Russian-speaking artists, musicians, dancers, designers, chefs and entrepreneurs who live and work in the metropolis.

For the first time, compatriots held the festival in Hong Kong in 2017. Back then, the works of Russian wildlife photographer Mikhail Korostelev aroused great interest among the public. Visitors enjoyed looking at the moments of life of Kamchatka bears captured in the photo. This year, Mikhail Korostelev also presented his photographs and gave a lecture, which gathered a full house.

The Russian Club in Hong Kong was created in 1999. Its goal is to promote Russian culture, traditions and art through annual festivals of Russian culture, Russian balls, as well as other cultural and social events.
