Russian athletes won six more Olympic medals

Russian athletes on the tenth competitive day have added six medals to the Olympic Games collection in Tokyo, TASS reports. Russian athletes twice became silver medalists and four times rounded out the top three.

The gymnast Denis Ablyazin showed the second result in the vault. Shooter Sergei Kamensky was second in rifle shooting from fifty meters from three positions.

Angelina Melnikova won the bronze medal in the artistic gymnastics women's floor exercise.. Cyclists Anastasia Voinova and Daria Shmeleva won bronze in the team sprint. Also bronze medals were won by the Greco-Roman style wrestlers Sergei Emelin and Sergei Semenov.

Russia currently has 12 gold awards: 21 silver and 17 bronze medals. Russia ranks 5th in overall medals standings.
