Students from abroad can continue their studies at Russian universities, the Rospotrebnadzor website reports. The department gave the appropriate permission, subject to some restrictions.

Foreign citizens can be admitted to study if they have medical certificates confirming the absence of coronavirus infection. A document confirming a negative test result for COVID-19 must be issued in Russian or in English. The analysis must be done within three days before entering the country.

After entering Russian territory, students also need to take a PCR test for coronavirus again within three days. Before receiving a negative result, they will have to be in quarantine.

Students of Russian higher educational institutions returned to offline studies on February 8. The decision is made taking into account the epidemiological situation in a particular region.

Universities were transferred to distance learning in mid-November kast year.
