The All-Russian Congress of Foreign Students of Russia is taking place in the capital of Tatarstan, Media-MIG reports. It opened on Wednesday, September, 13, and will run for four days. The forum operates at the Kazan Federal University. It is taking place for the 11th time.

The organizers are the Association of Foreign Students and the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia with the assistance of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

The congress will draw attention to the difficulties that arise for students who come to study in Russia from other countries. In particular, often, there are not enough places in dormitories, which is why they have to rent apartments. There are manifestations of xenophobia and discrimination. Many difficulties arise until foreigners master the Russian language and are able to adapt to Russian society.

Constructive communication during the congress should help solve these problems, the organizers are sure.
