Number of Iranian students in Russian universities has increased 3.5 times in five years

The number of students from Iran in Russian universities has increased 3,5 times over the past five years, said Deputy Head of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science Denis Sekirinsky at the 3rd Congress of Young Scientists. He also spoke about projects of interaction with Iran, TASS reports.

During the session dedicated to scientific and technical cooperation between Russia and Iran, the deputy minister stressed that Iranian students are studying at Russian universities in various fields: natural sciences and humanities. 

The Deputy Minister spoke about the Our Lab exhibition of Russian scientific equipment. Currently, work is underway to translate the exhibition catalog into Persian.

The 3rd Congress of Young Scientists started at the Sirius Science and Art Park and will last until November, 30. The forum is aimed at developing interaction between science, government and the real sector of the economy.
