Exhibition on Stalingrad during WWII opened in Cyprus

The Hot Snow of Stalingrad exhibition has opened in Cyprus. Its video version was presented by the Russian Center for Science and Culture, operating in the republic, the website of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation reports.

The exposition is based on unique photographs and archival documents provided by the Moscow Museum of Victory. Visitors can see how Stalingrad defended itself against the Nazis for two hundred days, track the pages of an epoch-making battle.

Earlier, the Garden of Remembrance campaign, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, was held in Greece and Cyprus. Within the framework of the international project, which started on March 18, it is planned to plant 27 million trees in Russia and other countries - according to the number of Soviet citizens who died during the war.
