Russian web project Kultura.RF to conduct 75 online broadcasts of performances and concerts

Performances of leading theaters in Russia, concerts of outstanding musicians, as well as lectures and tours of exhibitions and attractions of the country can be watched in October and November from anywhere in the world thanks to online broadcasts of the Kultura.RF web portal. In 2019, over 100 million people from all over the world watched direct online broadcasts of cultural events on the portal, the website of the Ministry of Culture of Russia reports.

In October, it will be possible to see live broadcasts of performances of Moscow theaters - Sovremennik, the Mossovet Theater, the Maly Theater, the Oleg Tabakov Theater and the Operetta Theater - on the platform. In addition, performances from the program of several theater festivals will be shown. In November, broadcasts of performances from exhibitions from Moscow and Kaluga are going to take place.

The popularity of online broadcasts of Russian performances and concerts in recent years has been growing at an impressive pace. They are organized on Internet platforms, in social networks and in cinemas. Audience growth is also noted on the Kultura.RF web portal. In September alone, more than six million people became viewers of fifty broadcasts. More than one hundred million users watched performances at Kultura.RF this year.
