The conference this year became the twentieth in a row. It is expected that the forum will become the largest in the history of its holding: about four hundred people will join it.

According to the organizers, the main theme of the conference is “The Joy and Worries of the Teacher Profession”. Teachers expect to receive assistance in their professional activities, the specialists from Narva College explained.

The pedagogical community discusses the problem of teaching in Estonian at a Russian-language school. The main issue will be the work of teachers in preschool institutions and school principals. A speech by the Estonian minister of education and research Mailis Reps is expected at the event.

Russkiy Mir reported that the mayor of Tallinn, Mikhail Kylvart called for support for Russian-language schools. He called the schools part of culture, and the Russians - part of the Estonian state and society.
