Slavic culture has been presented in the framework of the celebration of the Days of the Old Town in Estonia, Sputnik news agency reports. The festival takes place in Tallinn every year, but such large-scale performances of artists in Russian, Ukrainian and Belarusian traditions were included in its program for the first time.

Soloists and creative teams of three fraternal nations performed in the open air on the stage, equipped in the courtyard of one of the ancient castles. Numerous spectators warmly welcomed their performances, prepared specifically for the holiday.

Among the participants was the children's Mlada ensemble of the folk song. Young vocalists in folk costumes sang songs of modern composers in the national song tradition. The participants of the Neposedu (Fidgets) dance group also performed during the festival.

The defile of national costumes and the tasting of traditional Russian dishes also took place. Anyone could try the pies and other treats. Russian folk fun and games were prepared for the audience.
