21.12.2017

Russian Father Frost and Estonian Old Yule met again on the bridge that connects Russia and Estonia. Two winter magicians came to children who reside in Russian Ivangorod and Estonian Narva, RIA Novosti reports.

Father Frost and Old Yule (Estonian Santa Claus) meet each year for more than 10 years on the Friendship Bridge that connects two countries.

This tradition started in 2005. Right on the border they shake hands, and then head to the kids who are waiting for gifts and celebration.

At first the Christmas ceremony took place at the central square of Narva, Estonuan city located on the boarder. Then Russian and Estonian magicians presented gifts to toddlers in Sipsik kindergarden and in a locan Children hospital.
From Narva procession has headed to Russian Ivangorod located on the other side of the border.

After the sunset Father Frost and Old Yle have lighted a Christmas tree at the main city square.
