Crimea is waiting for American tourists preparing special offers to them in the Crimean sanatoriums and SPA, the Russian embassy to the United States commented with irony on the sanctions list expansion in Ukraine and Crimea. New US sanctions were imposed against a number of enterprises and organizations of the Crimea including sanatoriums, TASS reports. The Russian Foreign Ministry called the sanctions United States irresponsibility and declared the futility to intimidate Russia with ultimatums.

The Russian embassy to the United States said that they could not understand the logic of the sanctions in the duty mode and introduced every month or two. The US authorities added three individuals and nine organizations to the sanctions list: the former head of the missile forces and artillery of the Armed Forces of Russia Vladimir Zaritsky and the LNR Deputy Minister of State Security Alexander Basov as well as the entire ministry. According to the US Treasury Department, the property of individuals and companies on the list is blocked in the US, and US citizens are prohibited from conducting financial transactions with them. The official reason for the expansion of sanctions is “malicious acts and destabilizing behavior of Russia.”

The number of sanctions exceeded seven dozens in recent years, calculated the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). The MFA spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova stated that the reasons for the sanctions were being sought and found. She saw irresponsibility of American politicians questioning their professionalism. Meanwhile, Zakharova noted the futility of sanctions pressure since it was impossible to intimidate Russia with ultimatums.
