Vladimir Putin extends condolences over mass deaths in Japan

Russian President Vladimir Putin has extended condolences to Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe over a big number of victims after the natural disaster, according to the official Kremlin website.

Over 100 people died as a result of landslides and floods caused by pouring rains in the southern and central parts of Japan. The most complicated situation is in Okayama prefecture.

The message of the Russian leader reads that the Russians are sharing grief of the people who lost  their families. The head of state expressed hope that the injured would soon recover.

At least 105 victims of the flood were reported at the moment. Around 80 people are missing. The search and rescue works continue for the second day. The Japanese military are involved. Almost 6 million people were evacuated. Ten thousands of people were allocated at the specialized centers. Dozens of buildings were damaged, roads were destroyed, the railroad traffic suffered.
