Russian Ambassador in the US Anatoly Antonov has marked importance of the cultural exchange in his greeting message. He is positive that events like this allow Americans to learn about Russian culture diversity, and enhance mutual understanding between our peoples.

“I think that the key to the hearts of the young generation is the fresh interpretation of the classical piece presented by the theater,” says the greeting on Facebook page.

The Cherry Orchard festival is held in New York for the sixth time. Every year it becomes more and more popular, according to its organisers. Thanks to the festival, locals can learn more about Russian classical literature.
It's worth mentioning that 2 years ago The State Theater of Nations brought to New York Shukshin stories play.
