RT bagged two golds at the New York Festivals

Two programs of Russian international television network RT have received gold at the New York Festivals prestigious international contest, RIA Novosti inform.

One of the winners is Growing up with War: Children of Syria. It's plot is built on the story about small Syrians, many of them never knew a peaceful life.

The other winner is RT #1917LIVE dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Russian Revolution, it received gold in The Digital Project nomination. RT's advertising commercials took the 2 place in Cinematography nomination.

Another Silver award was presented in the Best Report Investigation nomination for the On Contact program hosted by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Chris Hedges. The topic of the program was drug addiction problem in United States.

Documentaries on Indian casts and Marine Patrol movement have received silver and bronze, accordingly.

RT Spanish Political Cuisine TV program promo and the channel’s promo for its social media accounts won silver medals, while RT’s special coverage of the parliamentary elections in Germany took bronze.

In total, RT received two golds, five silver and two bronze medals this year.
