Finnish activists will build Friendship Bridge with Crimea

Delegation from Finland is paying a visit to Crimea, according to RIA Novosti. The delegation comprises 5 people including members of Russian-Finnish Friendship Association and a prominent human rights defender Johan Beckmann. According to organizers, their main task is development of relations between the two nations. Besides, Finnish guests are striving for setting connections between Helsinki and Crimea in all the directions.

The plan is to negotiate implementation of several joint projects in the field of culture and tourism, including organization of a Finish cultural center in Crimea.

Members of the delegation are going to talk to local population in Crimea. They will go on a tour about legendary sights of the peninsula making a part of Crimean and the world history. The list of such sights includes a construction ground of the bridge over the Kerch Strait.

The delegation is going to take part in celebration of the 4th anniversary of Crimea’s reunification with Russia.

The visit will last for a week to be over on March 20.
