Residents brought candles, flowers and honored the memory of the dead by a minute of silence at the Adler embankment. The Defense Ministry plane crashed in the early hours of December 25 last year.

It should be reminded that nine journalists were on board of that plane including correspondents, operators and sound producers of the First Channel and NTV. Charity activist Elizaveta Glinka known as Doctor Liza was also on board of this plane flying to Syria. Sixty-four members of Alexandrov Ensemble died in this catastrophe as well. They had to give a New Year concert at Khmeimim base.

The mourning meeting ended with performing the most popular song of Alexandrov Ensemble called Kalinka.

According to residents, plane crash became a huge tragedy leaving no indifferent people. The people lit candles and put flowers into the water.

Technical problem and pilot’s mistake are possible reasons of the air crash. The investigation of this case is still going on.
