Putin is to conduct more than 10 meetings at G20 Summit

Presidential Administration of RussiaVladimir Putin is to conduct more than 10 meetings on the sidelines of the G20 summit that is held on 7–8 July in Hamburg, Germany. According to the President's aide Yuri Ushakov, the schedule is going to be very tight, TASS reports.

It is already planned that Russian President will meet with his French, Korean, and Turkish counterparts, and the head of EU Commission. Short stand-up meetings are expected with Australian, Mexican, and South African leaders.

Besides, informal BRICS members meeting will take place before the summit starts.

The most serious expectations are related to the Russia and US leaders meeting that might possibly affect the relationship between Washington and Moscow as well the international arena situation, Yuri Ushakov has stressed.

Putin and Trump are to discuss several topics, including international terrorism, alarming situations in Syria and Ukraine. The Ukraine topic is going to be raised during working breakfast with the participation of the Russian leader, the French president Emmanuel Macron and the G20 Summit host Angela Merkel.

It is planned that Vladimir Putin and the Turkey's president Recep Tayyip Erdogan will make an attempt on addressing the Syrian conflict, while Korean Peninsula situation and a peace treaty issues will be discussed with the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
