Oliver Stone to finish the movie about Vladimir Putin

Famous American director Oliver Stone works on the movie about Russian President. The shooting was completed last fall, the editing process now is in action. As per Stone, the movie will "open up a whole viewpoint that we as Americans haven’t heard."

During the shooting process Stone met with the Russian president four times over two years. The filmmaker has called Vladimir Putin one of the most important political leaders in the world. If his previous feature on Edward Snowden Mr Stone has made a biographical political film. But in this case he even doesn't agree with the "documentary" definition. "It is not a documentary as much as a question and answer session," he insists.

Stone is known as a person who's creative and personal statement aim at the idea of questioning the establishment. He received several awards like Oscar's Award for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Director, as well as awards in Venice and Berlin film festivals.

The four-hour documentary will be on air later this year but the date is still unknown.
