American – Russian relations will definitely stabilize, US President Donald Trump is sure. He wrote about that at his page in one of the social networks, as per RIA Novosti. He has assured that everything will be fine and peaceful between the two countries.
White House leader claimed that in his attitude, the negotiations between Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov were quite successful.
“I believe they have held a successful meeting in Russia, we will see the results, as only results matter, not just talking,” Trump stated. He has said that now they have to wait for the results of this meeting.
He has also underlined that U.S. relations with Russia “may be at an all-time low”, but he has expressed hope that they will be improved in future.
It is worth reminding that according to Sergey Lavrov, the negotiations can be evaluated as “comprehensive and honest”. The participants touched upon many current challenges of the bilateral and international agenda. One of the main topics was Syrian crisis. They discussed an incident of chemical weapons’ attack in Idlib at the beginning of April and US missile attack targeted at the Syrian government airbase.
