Putin reminded to Merkel and Hollande the urgency of lifting Donbass blockade by Kiev

President of Russia Vladimir Putin discussed situation in Ukraine with French president François Hollande and Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel. They have agreed on continuation of contacts in Normandy format.

The Russian leader marked that the political part of Minsk agreements has to be implemented as soon as possible. it is necessary to synchronize measures of security requirements and a political settlement. These actions have to be addressed in the draft road map, which is currently under developmant.

Aside of that, Putin reminded once again that Kiev's blockade in Donbass region needs to be withdrawn at the closest future. This provision can be found in Minsk-2 agreement .

Heads of three countries also addressed on certain aspects that relate to OSCE Mission activities in Ukraine.

A question of supporting the durable and fully respected ceasefire agreement on the line of contact in Donbass was also raised during this meeting.
