Father Frost congratulated thousands of compatriots abroad on NY holidays

Russian Father Frost congratulated almost 9,000 compatriots living abroad on the eve of the New Year holidays. The main winter wizard visited Armenia, Belarus, Italy, France and other countries, Rossotrudnichestvo reports. 

Father Frost visited young patients in hospitals and rehabilitation centers and congratulated children from orphanages and boarding schools.

In Armenia, the wisard visited five cities, took part in 17 events and brought a festive mood to 5,000 people.

3,500 Russian compatriots living in France and Italy met with Father Frost during the wizard’s traditional New Year’s journey from Veliky Ustyug.

The organizer of the large-scale project is the government of the Vologda region with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Rossotrudnichestvo.
