More than 5,000 compatriots took part in state resettlement program in 2nd quarter of 2023

In the 2nd quarter of this year, more than 5,000 people took part in the voluntary resettlement program of Russian compatriots, Nashi Everywhere reports. Together with family members, their number exceeded 14,000 people.

Most of the compatriots chose the regions of the Urals Federal District. The Central Federal District was became second in popularity.

Tajikistan ranked first in terms of the number of migrants. Citizens of the Central Asian republic make up more than 39% of the total. Kazakhstan with almost 17% became second. In 3rd place with a slight lag was Armenia.

The number of migrants who have chosen the countryside for life remains practically unchanged, at the level of about 20%.
