St. Petersburg web series on Great Patriotic War win prize in Berlin

Short series About the People and About the War by the Artel Film Production film studio from St. Petersburg received the prize of the Berlin TV Series Festival, TASS reports.

The web series on the Great Patriotic War received its 15th foreign award, earlier, it participated in festivals in London, Singapore, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro and Rome, won more than 30 Russian film awards.

The series is a collection of film stories based on the memories of real people who survived the war. The authors of the project selected the most touching stories of front-line soldiers.

The web series was filmed for three years with the support of the Internet Development Institute. Earlier, one of the films of the project - "Artist" - was also awarded at the Berlin TV Series Festival.

The producer of the web series, Anna Chizhova, noted that the authors of the project manage to represent Russian ideas and values, overcoming obstacles and cancellations made abroad.
