The Russian multidisciplinary care team hospital received its first patients in Syria, the Russian Ministry of Health reported in its Telegram channel. The hospital has opened it’s doors in Aleppo, the city that was hit by a devastating earthquake a month ago.

A care team, consisting of doctors and mid-level medical personnel from the All-Russian Center for Disaster Medicine is currently working in the hospital.

As the Russkiy Mir mentioned earlier, the mobile hospital was delivered to Aleppo by a military aircraft, along with 15 tons of humanitarian cargo, that included medicines, equipment and basic necessities, collected by the Russian Ministry of Health in cooperation with Syrian diplomats.

As we reported earlier, The Syrian government highly appreciated the Russian contribution to the elimination of the consequences of the devastating earthquake that occurred on February, 6. Deputy Minister of Local Self-Government and the Environment of the country Moataz Kattan praised the work of Russian rescuers.
