Macron: Paris should interact with Russia on Syria and Ukraine

Flickr/Ville de NeversFrench president Emmanuel Macron believes that Paris has to continue dialogue with Moscow, TASS informs. It is essential regardless of opposite opinions on the situation in Ukraine.

The head of state explained that countries managed to continue a civil dialogue, in particular, to implement the Trianon dialogue project. 

Besides, Macron has stressed out that Russia and France are allied on climate policy. President is sure that Moscow is ready to support Paris in this question.

Moreover, French president hopes that Russia will assist in rendering humanitarian aid to civil society and in banning chemical weapons in Syria. Macron has cleared out that settling Syrian crisis and changing political regime are not obligatory conditions for him at all. It is absolutely possible to find common grounds in case of mutual work on these topics. Emmanuel Macron has remarked that he sees much progress in discussion of the Syrian situation.
