Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated that the West is provoking the degradation of international economic relations, TASS reports. The minister spoke at a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of  G20, which took place in New Dehli. According to Lavrov, Western countries are turning the economy into a weapon.

The minister was outraged by the fact that the sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipelines, which was committed in the NATO's and the European Union's responsobility zones remained unpunished. Lavrov demanded an objective investigation of this crime with the participation of Russia and other interested parties.

He also stressed that Russia had always supported and would continue to support the availability of energy resources for all countries in need at affordable prices.

Lavrov is sure that despite all the statements coming from Brussels, the West is doing everything possible to prevent the export of Russian agricultural products. He demanded to stop "playing the food card." Today, most of the Ukrainian grain is sent at dumping prices for fodder to European countries, and not to the poorest countries.

Russia, according to Lavrov, is diversifying economic ties, expanding trade with contractual partners. Moscow will continue to make a significant contribution to ensuring economic stability, the minister summed up.

According to the head of the Russian MFA, the meeting participants failed to agree on the final document due to disagreements on the Ukrainian conflict.
