The public flow of the St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum will bring together more than three dozen exhibitions, the website of the Ministry of Culture reports. One of the largest expositions is dedicated to the anniversary of the artist Alexander Deineka. This year marks the 120th anniversary of the birth of the famous painter and graphic artist.

The exposition titled Deineka / Samokhvalov will be located in the Manege Central Exhibition Hall. It will present about three hundred works. Deineka’s works will complement the paintings of another artist - Alexander Samokhvalov. About forty museums take part in organizing the exhibition. Ten private collectors also contributed to the exhibition.

The display items of another exhibition will be portraits of the Romanov family children, written by the famous Finnish artist of the century before last Albert Edelfelt. His work is rarely put on public display.

The Ex mea collectione ... Isaac Brodsky exhibition will tell about the work of the painter and graphic artist, one of the main representatives of the realistic trend in Soviet painting of the 1930s.

Turkey, which this year received the status of the guest of the forum, is preparing an exhibition consisting of costumes from the time of the Ottoman Empire. They can be seen through the eyes of modern designers. Another country - a forum guest - will introduce visitors to the contemporary art of China.

The forum program will be complemented by an interactive Offline / Online exhibition, dedicated to new media and technologies in art, a collection of caricatures CULTURA, Cheburashka and all-all-all. Fifty years of the main characters of the Soviet animation exposition.
