The work of the Russian-Finnish Cultural Forum began on Friday, September 24, TASS reports. The forum has been held for more than 20 years. Due to the unfavorable epidemiological it was decided to hold the event online.

Over 300 cultural projects organized by representatives of 57 Russian regions were presented at the forum. They received feedback from more than 200 Finnish organizations. The projects are aimed at deepening cultural ties between the two countries.

The key topic of the discussions is the cultural code and its impact on urban spaces. The heads of museums and charitable foundations, librarians and scientists, government officials and public figures will devote several sessions to it.

The program of the forum includes a virtual tour of the Yesenin Museum-Reserve and a concert.

The guests and participants of the forum were greeted by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. He is sure that the participants will be able to share their experience with each other, discuss new ideas and propose solutions to pressing problems related to education, art, museums, ethnocultural and regional studies.
