The residents of the Netherlands have had the chance to see the unique collections of the Hermitage for the last ten years. The works of recognized geniuses of painting from the main collection of the St. Petersburg museum have been recently exhibited in Amsterdam. About 120 thousand people have visited the exhibition for six months. The Hermitage believes that the new exhibition will attract even more attention.

According to Vilinbakhov, the idea to show the Dutch art lovers and tourists the costumes of members of the Russian royal court came from the organizers during the preparation of the jewelry exhibition. Specialists decided to add other exhibits to the jewelry (for example, portraits of members of the royal family), which will help visitors better understand the era and life of the imperial family in different centuries.
