Gastronomic Map of Russia street food festival is held in Kaliningrad. A ground with mobile restaurants from different ends of Russia was built in the capital of the most western region of the country. Chefs, caters and food producers from major restaurants and street outlets are working here, TASS reports. 

Local population, guests and fans who came to Kaliningrad to support their teams are present at the gastronomic festival.  

Rostourism is organizing the forum. Its main topic is to attract attention of the foreign tourists and Russians to cuisine of different Russian regions. Besides, the festival is to popularize local food chains and outlets.

The regional administration is sure that this project is of great interest.  Its difference is in its mobility, which enables to add up new participants, and the quality does not suffer from it. 

Guests are welcome to treat themselves with smoked eel, lobsters, local cheeses, pout in Murmansk style and many other treats.

Sochi, Rostov-on-Don and Nizhniy Novgorod already hosted Gastronomic Map of Russia festivals. It shifted from the Baltics to the Volga River Banks to be held in Samara. Then it is to be conducted in Saransk, its final destination being Saint Petersburg.
