Cosmonauts from the International Space Station talked to American and Russian schoolchildren

Schoolchildren from Russia and the United States took part in the video conference from the International Space Station, according to RIA Novosti. RT, American organization Astronomers without Boundaries and Rocket and Space Corporation Energia organized the event.

Schoolchildren from Tomsk and Sochi schools together with pupils of Korolyov city near Moscow could talk to real cosmonauts directly from the orbit and get all their questions answered. Children and teenagers from such American States as Montana and South Carolina joined them.

Besides, teenagers could watch panoramic videos of RT Space 360 project in the augmented reality glasses.

Organizers expressed hope that in future other children could take part in this project too. This video conference is another example of what the countries might achieve by developing interaction the space field.

Russian cosmonaut Andrei Borisenko has noted that the international cooperation in space field does not stop. In his words, he is glad to see that the Russian-American partnership is not just possible, but is encouraged in every way.
