Russian Children's Cinema Week Held in Serbia

Three adventure films were included in the program of the 7th  Tales of Childhood Russian Cinema Week, which takes place in Belgrade. As part of the festival, the Multi-Bridge project was launched, in which children from Russia and Serbia create cartoons together, the Rossiyskaya Gazeta newspaper reports.

Children's cinema week has been held in Serbia for six years and occupies an important place in the cultural life of the country. The organizers call the festival a unique event, allowing to present the latest cinema and animation of Russia to Serbian audiences.

Demonstrations, master classes and the work of young animators are traditionally held at the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Belgrade. The oldest Russian cultural center abroad in the Serbian capital is simply called the “

Russian House. For representatives of the Russian diaspora, the RCSC is indeed the home that helps Russian compatriots maintain contact with their homeland.

"Tales of childhood" and other children's events allow employees of the Russian House to expand the number of visitors and interest the younger generation in the Russian language, as well as the culture and history of Russia.
