Young Russian Australians present their inventions at science conference

Russian kids and teenagers living in Australia have presented their scientific inventions in the frames of the Second Children Science conference in Perth. Apart of presentations, workshops and seminars dedicated to the modern science, Council of Russian Compatriots in Australia informs.

The conference aims to promote interest in science, in Russian language, and meeting new people inside Russian Australian community. General Counsellor of Russia in Sydney Igor Andrejev and Curtin University professor Igor Brey greeted participants. 

The conference showed the wide variety of young people's interests. Schoolkids presented works about  the benefits and harms of chewing gum, environmental impact of plastic, specifics of volcanoes and Australian owls. Research papers were estimated by leading Australian teachers and scientists.
