Russians will take part in inclusive music festival in Turkey

Musicians with special needs from Russia, Turkey, Lithuania and Moldova will take part in the First International Inclusive Music Festival, which will be held in Antalya from October 16 to 20. The festival is included in the program of the Cross Year of Culture and Tourism of Russia and Turkey, the Zdes Vse web portal reports. 

The concerts of the participants will be held in three Turkish cities - Antalya, Manavgat and Belek. Spectators will see the performances of ensembles and soloists and choreographic performances, folk art will and compositions by classical composers and contemporary authors will be taken to the stage. 

The festival was organized by the Andrey Karlov Charity Fund, the Russian Society of Antalya, the inclusive orchestra Sunny Notes with the support of the Consulate General of Russia in Antalya.

The organizers said that the festival aimed at attracting public attention to the musical education of children with special needs, as well as the exchange of experience between organizations working with people with mental disabilities.
