Loveless nominated for prestigious France Award

Loveless screenshot\film.ruAndrei Zvyagintsev's latest drama Loveless has been nominated for one of the most prestigious France's film competitions - César Award, called 'French Oscar', TASS reports.

Zvyagintsev's feature was called by the leading Western media “an apocalyptic study of a failed marriage.” It unveils a story of a twelve-year-old Alyosha suffering effects of parent’s divorce. One day the boy decides to run away from home and the family drama turns into an eerie thriller.

It's worth mentioning, Loveless has already collected impressive quantity of prizes, including Cannes jury prize and London International Film Festival. This year it will compete for the Oscars in Foreign Language Film nomination.  The feature is nominated for the César Award in the same category.
