Loveless by A. Zvyagintsev wins Grand Prix again

KinoPoiskRussian drama film Loveless directed by Andrey Zvyagintsev has received Gran Prix in London International Film Festival, TASS reports.It's worth mentioning that there were numerous Eouropean and Asian films in the festival's program.

The festival jury has underlined the expressiveness of a piercing drama about a couple going through a divorce. The members of the jury have defined it as “Poetic and truly beautiful movie.”

Remarkably, this is the second victory of the director at the London International Film Festival. Three years ago he was praised with Gran Prix for Leviathan.

Let us remember, Loveless by Andrei Zvyagintsev was nominated for the main award at Cannes and was bestowed by the jury prize. It has also participated in several other contests. This year Russian Oscar Committee has proposed Zvyagintsev's film to be nominated for Oscars.
