Kniguru in Britain starts accepting book reviews

Organizational committee of Kniguru in Britain has announced that it start accepting reviews and feedbacks on books that have entered literary competition for the best works for youth, Russian Children’s World website reports.

The event is supported by Organizational committee of Kniguru an RCW fund. Its main objective is to promote Russian literature abroad and to attract attention of Russian-language speaking kids and teens from Great Britain to the Russian literature.

Applications are accepted until October of this year. Participants should fill out the application form, choose one or few books from the long list and write a review for each one in Russian or English. It is important that review reflects personal readers’ impressions.

Winners congratulating ceremony Kniguru in Britain will take place in the book store Waterstones London on November, 19.

Let us remind you, Kniguru All-Russian competition for the best literary work for children and youth has received more than 600 applications from 18 countries. It is remarkable that the Kniguru jury consists of teens aged up to 16 years old.
