About 80 thousand Petersburgers and guests of the Northern capital are invited to the Palace Square to the Scarlet Sailscelebration of graduates, TASS reports. Numerous performances will happen there at night towards 24 June, on Friday towards Saturday.

Free outdoor performances, such as live music, Aerial Theater, and a huge light and pyrotechnic show at the Neva river will be presented to the spectators.

This year FIFA Confederations Cup fans might also join the celebration. The match of the 3 round between New Zealand and Portugal will take place at the The Krestovsky Stadium coming Saturday.

Chair of the Committee for Education Zhanna Vorobieva has stressed that due to the coincidence of two important events unprecedented security measures are to be made. Hence, the Palace Square entrance will be available only by invitation cards, while for others video streaming will be available.

Scarlet Sails celebration organizers are concerned to provide maximum security for the graduates and their families, therefore special routes for them will be arranged.
