FIFA has released the official documentary about the 2018 World Cup in Russia on its YouTube channel. The 79 minutes long video features the best moments of the championship matches, video clips from the locker rooms and from the stands, TASS reports.

The video description states that the documentary was created to remind football fans around the world about the most striking events of the championship of the planet, which "thrilled from beginning to end".

The 2018 World Cup was hosted by eleven Russian cities. The hosts of the championship were able to show the best result in the history of the Russian national team at the world championships. The team of Stanislav Cherchesov overpassed the group stage, beat the Spanish world champions in the 1/8 finals and lost in the penalty shootout to the Croatian team.

The champion title was won by the French team, who defeated the Croats in the final with a score of 4: 2. FIFA called the tournament the best in history.

The next soccer world championship will be held in Qatar in 2022. It is there that the traveling exhibition dedicated to football and the Russian World Cup will finish its work. The exhibition, organized with the support of the Moscow government, brought together paintings by artists from more than a dozen countries.
