More than 100 people from 12 countries took part in NY traditions project

Participants from 12 countries joined the contests of the "Interweaving Croatian and Russian traditions in the manufacture of Christmas and New Year decorations" project. Children and adults made New Year's toys, created drawings and wrote texts about winter holidays. The organizer of the project is the Coordination Council of Organizations of Russian Compatriots in Croatia, the council writes on Facebook.

The project united all regions of Croatia, more than 50 residents of the country took part in the competitions. They were joined by children and adults from Russia, Canada, Poland, Czech Republic, Iceland, Palestine, Syria, and CIS countries. The youngest participant was 4 years old, and the oldest was 84 years old. The organizing committee received more than 200 creative works.

The curators of the competition were museums from Zagreb and Veliky Ustyug, which houses the patrimony of the Russian Ded Moroz.
