According to the head of International Enogastronomic Centre Leonid Gelibterman, this type of event happened for the first time in Spain in 2015, and since then this project successfully goes on. The current Russian Culinary Week is the part of the program of the cross year of Russia and Greece.

There are also plans for the following year. In particular, Tokyo might be engaged in the next Russian culinary week with the following Japanese culinary week in Russia. Later on, several regions of Switzerland are going to host Russian Culinary Week as well.

Leonid Gelibterman is very glad that this project calls very avid interest in many other countries.

This year United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) mentioned Russian Culinary Week in the report for the first time. And this is a very promising sign. According to the member of the Public Chamber of Russia Elena Storming, the culinary tourism helps people from different countries to encounter new traditions and break the cultural and social stereotypes.
