Russian Gastronomic Week starts in Cyprus

pixabay.comOpening ceremony of Russian Gastronomic Week took place in Nicosia today, TASS informs. This type of event is conducted for the first time on the island.

According to the head of Russian Embassy in Cyprus Stanislav Osadchiy, this action is very precious for developing good relations between our countries that are already engaged for many centuries in joint cultural and religious ventures. Russian and Cypriot trade and political fields are continuously developing, among others.

Gastronomic Week includes Culinary Summit Russia-Cyprus, Kremlin Cuisine Secrets lecture, presentations of Russian food manufacturers, food market and master classes from best Russian chefs. Also an exhibition of gastronomy and general tours around Russia is going to be presented.

The large-scale international project to be conducted in popular touristic city Limassol, and the main venue of the Week is the luxurious five-star Four Seasons hotel in the center of the city.

Russian Gastronomic Week to conclude on November 17.
