Display «Twelve. Russian writers of 1917» was prepared by State Literature Museum. Documental pictures, writings, posters and drawings are among the exhibited items. The main goal of the mobile project is to demonstrate history of revolutionary changes through eyes of the twelve writers including Mayakovsky, Blok, Bunin, Gippius, Gorky, Tsvetaeva, Briusov, Voloshin, Lunacharsky, Bedny and others. The display consists of twelve compartments related to each writer.
Their creative works reflect the most complicated contradictions of that epoch. Their fates differed a lot. In the view of organizers, the dissimilarities of writers’ destinies will enable the audience to see same events happening a hundred years ago from various, sometimes opposite, angles.
