The memorial board opening ceremony was timed with his birthdate. The event was attended by the Indian Cultural Council President Lokesh Chandra, Russian diplomatic mission members, ambassadors and public activists.

Director of the Eurasia Department of the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Godavarthi Venkata Srinivas has stated that Alexander Kadakin was an outstaning diplomat and has made a lot to strengthen Russian-Indian friendship. The politologist Sudhinra Kulkarni has concluded that Kadakin’s service was marked by his absolute commitment, his personal involvement will be remembered by Indian people.

Let us remind you that at the 2017 St. Petersburg International Economic Forum Indian Premier Minister Narenda Modi has promiced Vladimir Putin to name one of New Delhi streets after Alexander Kadakin.
