Russian film festival kicks off in Jordan

The Russian Film Festival opens on July, 27 at the Russian House in Amman. Jordanian viewers will be able to watch family comedies and cartoons. The festival is organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Russia, the Russian House telegram channel reports.

Fyodor Bondarchuk’s comedy The Ghost will open the festival. It will be followed by the Horse Julius on the Throne and Three Horses cartoon, Parents of the Strict Regime, and Breakfast at Dad’s. Entrance for spectators is free.

Earlier, the Week of Russian Cinema was held in Algiers. The audience was shown the classics of Russian cinema and films by contemporary Russian directors. Over 20 Russian film festivals will take place this year in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and the CIS.
