New Year's performances with the participation of Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden for children from families of Russian compatriots were organized at the embassies of Russia and Russian centers of science and culture around the world. Children watch performances with the participation of heroes of Russian fairy tales and receive New Year's gifts.

The New Year's party was prepared for Russian-speaking children living on the island of Mauritius, according to the Facebook page of compatriots in the Republic of Mauritius. All rehearsals were held remotely. At the festival, young spectators read prepared poems, and singers sang famous songs and played games for children. The program also included a round dance gift exchange.

In Qatar, a fabulous performance took place, the heroes of which, in addition to Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden, were Baba Yaga and Metelitsa. Guests of the holiday were also delighted with pastries in the form of snowmen. The show was organized by the Arabesque Qatar ballet studio with the support of the Coordinating Council of Qatar Compatriots.

In Morocco, a holiday for the children of Russian compatriots with the presentation of New Year gifts was organized by the "Russian House in Morocco" association.

A series of New Year's performances are taking place at the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Hanoi. The viewers of the New Year Trees are Vietnamese schoolchildren and students studying at the school at the Russian Embassy in Vietnam and attending Russian language courses at the Russian center. Children in Tanzania were congratulated by Ded Moroz, Snegurochka, Baba Yaga, Kashchei Immortal and other heroes of Russian fairy tales.
